Disadvantages:

1. Because FPC flexible circuit board is designed and manufactured for special applications, the cost of circuit design, wiring and photographic plate is high, so the initial cost is high.

2. It is difficult to change and repair the FPC flexible circuit board. Once the FPC flexible circuit board is made, the change must start from the base drawing or the prepared photo-drawing program. Its surface is covered with a protective film, which should be removed before repair and restored after repair, which is a relatively difficult work.

3. FPC flexible circuit board is usually manufactured by batch process when it is not popular. Due to the size of production equipment, it cannot be made very long and wide.

4. Improper operation of the preparation personnel may cause damage to the FPC flexible circuit board, and the soldering and rework of the FPC need to be operated by trained personnel.
